Preview  Jinx
- By Andrew Weatherton

During an interview with David Dienstbier of Turok fame, we found out about an adventure game in development by Acclaim for the GameCube. The extent our our knowledge about the game can be found in this brief excerpt from the interview:

Dienstbier left, Andrew Weatherton right

Ngenres: Is there anything else that you are developing for the GameCube?

David Dienstbier:
Everything that we develop with the new engine technology is already running on GameCube, so it’s just a question of what we will decide to bring to the GameCube. So, nothing confirmed yet, but this is Jinx and it’s going to be awesome.

Ngenres: This is an adventure game?

David Dienstbier: This is an adventure game coming out of Austin.

Ngenres: What’s so special about him? Is it the gloves?

Jinx and his awesome gloves

David Dienstbier: The gloves are awesome, yeah they’re a really nice set of gloves. (laughing) But I’ll just let you wonder about what’s so special about them, sorry.

*editor's note*
Jinx's gloves appear to be able to morph and change shape or function, however, it was difficult to tell from the short preview video.

More on this as it becomes available.
