Preview  Trace Memory
- By Lander Clinton

Trace Memory, formerlly Another Code, formerlly Another, is a unique game for the DS (a system known for unique games).

It seems to be like an old point-and-click adventure, like Myst. You hold the stylus on the screen and your character, a girl with no memory, will go where you're pointing. The bottom screen is a top-down view with 3D graphics. The top screen shows pre-rendered stills of interesting objects you can examine, photograph, or take with you.

Help her unravel the mysteries of her amnesia, or, you know, just bonk her on the head. You always want to be hit on the head an even number of times or else you'll forget everything.

Trace Memory could be great if it has a great story, but don't expect a lot of action. It's probably an insert Tab A into Slot B puzzle game like Resident Evil, but without the shooting and the zombies (maybe a zombie ate half of her brain and that's why she can't remember anything).
