Preview  From Russia With Love
- By Lander Clinton

EA's follow-up to Everything or Nothing casts you in the role of Sean Connery's Ian Flemming's James Bond's over-the-shoulder buddy. You follow him everywhere he goes and tell him when to shoot and where to go. I haven't seen all the Bond films so I'm not sure when they stopped using this character.

Playing it felt very familiar, although I don't remember Pierce running so slowly in EON. I asked if there was any way to get Bond moving faster and I was promptly told that the ladies don't like it when he goes too fast.

New to the gameplay is a zoom-in feature on all the guns. When you lock-on to an enemy, zoom in on them and target specific body parts (go for the spleen, the spleen!). This can leave you open for other enemies to shoot at you.

From Russia promises to include the same kind of vehicular levels that EON had, but without the loading in-between. I made it to the roof of a building, shooting the place up along the way, grabbed a jet pak, then flew around the building and took out more baddies before firing at a helicopter for some reason. Bond sure hates those helicopters.

More From Russia with or without the love in the future.
