Preview  Crank: The Weasel
- By Lander Clinton

One of Midway's more ambitious games at E3 was Crank: The Weasel (I almost forgot to put the : in there, which makes it a very different title).

The 3D platform game revolves around a weasel named Crank, who is greedy like Wario. The point of the game is to make money by doing different deeds in a 1940s gangster cartoon setting. For those of you who don't know, "gangsta" has its routes in "gangster."

Crank reminded me of the weasels in Conker's Bad Fur Day, who were reminiscent of the weasels from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"

The video we saw of Crank had him collecting money in a slum and slapping girls on the ass. I guess that should have been "slapping girls on the asses," unless they all have one collective butt.

The game is still very early but it's starting to shape up. Expect more info if Midway has more info.
