News   Ultimate Book of Spells Agreement
- Posted By Michael Loewer, 10.03.2001

TDK Mediactive, Inc., a global publisher of entertainment software, and BKN International, a leading broadcast content provider for kids, announced today a worldwide, five year licensing agreement for the new animated television series Ultimate Book of Spells, hereby referred to as UBOS. The agreement gives TDK exclusive rights to develop and publish games featuring the magic and adventure of UBOS for current and next generation videogame consoles, hand-helds, and PC platforms.

Spoken by Anthony Temple, Managing Director of BKN Consumer Products:

"UBOS is a very exciting new program for BKN. In the right hands, the magical elements of this series will transfer beautifully into the competitive world of videogames. As a leader in the field of family games, TDK Mediactive is the right company to produce the UBOS games."

Added by Vincent Bitetti, Chief Executive Officer of TDK Mediactive:

"The inventive storylines, lush fantasy settings and high-spirited characters of UBOS are perfectly suited to interactive gameplay. With a United States premiere planned for next year, UBOS will be poised for a video game introduction in 2002."

If there's anything I like, it's new cartoons to waste my Saturday mornings with. Pokemon, Batman Beyond, Men in Black, and now Ultimate Book of Spells. Mmmmmm...
