Pokemon Mini

A new portable electronic Pokemon gaming device has been announced by Nintendo. Apparently the little bugger allows Pokemaniacs to play a laundry list of minigames with Pokemon on a tiny little black and white screen and removable, interchangeable cartridges. The catch is that Pokemon Mini can sense when it's being shaken and can rumble on it's own as well. Many of the device's mini-games revolve around this sort of interaction. Such as a boxing game in which players must shake Pokemon Mini as fast as they can in order to build up punching power.

Additionaly, these things have the ability to link up to other Pokemon Minis from up to six feet away for multiplayer fun via infrared. This infrared port may also be used in order to link up to a new line of Pokemon playing cards and even the GBA, reaping maximum profits by giving Pokemaniacs reasons to need (read: want) anything and everything Nintendo decides to slap the "Gotta Catch 'em All" slogin on.

On a side note, because Pokemon Mini uses interchangeable cartridges, it is, technically, a game system. So, the 'Pokemon Mini-system' is Nintendo's next portable gaming system.
