News   Sega's Hedgehog Has Officially Found a Home on Nintendo's GameCube
- Posted By Andrew Weatherton, 08.22.2001

Nearly six months ago, NGenres had the privilege of releasing the first word that a Sonic the Hedgehog game was headed to Nintendo's GameCube. Peter Moore, the president and COO of Sega of America made several revealing comments in an interview we had with him and the news quickly spread throughout the internet. Now, with Spaceworld just a few hours away, Sega has released screen shot, confirming that this Sonic game is in development. So far, all we know is that the game will be a port of Sonic Adventure 2 from the Dreamcast version. Though the screens show that graphical improvements have been made, one can only assume that with graphical improvements will come additional nuances. Still no word on whether or not the game will be able to link up with Sonic the Hedgehog Advance.

-We’ll keep you posted on additional information related to Sonic Cubed.
