News   First DS Ad!
- Posted By Lander Clinton, 10.25.2004

While watching my favorite episode of Family Guy on TBS (the first one with Death), I caught my first glimpse of Nintendo's DS ad campaign.

As the commercial starts, the screen is filled with bad reception snow, and two glowing rectangles appear. A woman's voice says "Touch the bottom rectangle," and then she tells you how much you want to touch it and how it feels good to touch.

Then the rest of the DS fades in around the rectangles.

I forget what the rest of it was, but the point of this story is that while I was writing this, a Metroid Prime 2 commercial came on and I didn't even know it until it was almost over, because Nintendo refuses to put the "GameCube" announcement at the start of their ads.

End communication.
