News   Nintendo Changes Gameboy Packaging
- Posted By Francis Bonnet, 08.16.2003

All three consoles (Xbox, PS2 and GCN) all use DVD packaging and poor Gameboy Advance has been stuck in the 20th century - using the same packaging as the original Gameboy, which was released in 1989! Fortunately, GBA's prayers have been answered! Nintendo recently announced that the packaging used for Gameboy Advance games will change to the packaging used for DVD games!

The package change will happen in both Europe and North America by Christmas. As of now there are no plans to change the GBA packaging in Japan, but when they see how cool it is over here, they just might reconsider.

Now is the time to rejoice!
