News   NGenres Opens Its Doors
- Posted By Lander Clinton, 08.04.2003

Amid much fanfare, NGenres president Tariq Bashir stepped out of his secluded factory today to welcome the winners of the Golden Memory Card sweepstakes.

Bashir tripped when greeting his guests, then apologized, saying it's rare for him to see daylight, and that he's always a little inebriated at 10:30 a.m. The crowd laughed at his obvious fake-stumble- Bashir seemed strangely quiet...

Reports from within the factory are hard to come-by, but we do know that one contest winner disobeyed a rule in the puzzles section and was taken away by tiny men called "Pikmin." The unlucky individual has been made an editor and will now be forced to come up with stories for the puzzle section for an unknown length of time.

Meanwhile, the remaining visitors who came to this story seemed to think the whole thing was just a big waste of time in lieu of an actual news story.

The now infamous Golden Memory Card sweepstakes gave readers of NGenres.com a once-in-a-lifetime chance to visit the NGenres factory, which exists no where. Readers fought over the cards because they didn't want to be the ones who got them.
