News   Super Mario Bros. Movie DVD
- Posted By Francis Bonnet, 02.12.2003

After years of fans clamoring for Nintendo to release the Super Mario Bros. Movie on DVD, it finally turns out that your cries have been answered. The 1993 live-action movie starring Bob Hoskins as Mario and John Leguizamo as Luigi has a release date of June 3, 2003 and is already listed on Amazon.com for pre-purchase. As of now there's no word on exactly what kind of special features the disc (or discs) will contain, but you can bet that it will satisfy the fans who have been hungering for the DVD release of this *cough cough* "quality" feature.

Anyway, just in case you really are looking forward to this release and can't wait for the June 3rd date, another Super Mario DVD was released few months back. The DVD was called "Mario's Greatest Movie Moments" and it contained select episodes of the late 80's, early 90's animated Super Mario Bros. Super Show. As an added bonus disc also featured two episodes of the Legend of Zelda Cartoon. Just thought I'd pass the word along. The following links will help your internet buying a little easier...
