News   Nintendo Press Conference Tomorrow
- Posted By Eric Tajchman, 01.07.2003

Rumors have been going around the Internet very recently about a press conference Nintendo plans to hold on Tuesday of this week. While it was all merely speculation up until now, it has been reported by the French gaming site Newtechnix.com that there is indeed such a press conference scheduled for tomorrow.

What will be revealed at the conference has not been determined. Concerning the upcoming press conference, a representative from Nintendo said, "You really don't want to miss this. All I can say is you won't be disappointed." After all the buzz surrounding the so-called "Megaton" announcement was effectively squashed after no such announcement was made, this could reignite the rampant speculation and debate in Internet forums.

However, this could also be Nintendo's chance to announce their online plans. One game has already been reported to be online capable, Mario Kart, so the timing could be right for Nintendo to reveal what it has in store for Cube owners eager to play each other via the Internet.

The press conference is reported to start at around 10:00 am in Japan (1:00 am Central Standard Time). As usual, we'll report what we know the minute we find out what it is.
