News   Mega Man & Bass Get a Release Date
- Posted By Francis Bonnet, 12.24.2002

Capcom of America recently posted a release date for their upcoming Gameboy Advance game, Mega Man & Bass, which is March 18, 2003.

Mega Man & Bass has always been a favorite of Mega Man fanatics. Also known as Rockman & Forte, the title was originally released in Japan in 1998 for the Super Famicom (SNES). Because the Super NES was completely dead in the U.S. at that time, Capcom opted not to release it in here and many gamers were deprived of one of the highest-quality Mega Man games ever to be released on a Nintendo console. Fortunately, Gameboy Advance has allowed the revival of many old Super NES games and Mega Man & Bass is a perfect addition to that list. Unless you imported the title way back when (like I did) the game is a completely new game with a fresh storyline and the ability to play as either Mega Man or his nemesis Bass (Bass as in treble, not bass in fish). For an in-depth look at Mega Man and all his released games, click here to read my History of Mega Man editorial, which was posted back in September.
