News   Miyamoto Reveals All In Playboy
- Posted By Lander Clinton, 12.11.2002

Shigeru Miyamoto announced Pikmin 2 and Mario 128 in an interview in Japan's weekly Playboy magazine.

Miyamoto, probably thinking that "Playboy" was a magazine about playing Game Boy, revealed that the two games were in development after being asked to share his "private" parts.

As for the games, no real information has been released about them, but I hope Pikmin 2 doesn't have Olimar crashing on the same planet, you'd think he would have learned. Maybe his brother Giiru can crash there (10 points* to anyone who knows why his brother would be named that).

In the interview Miyamoto almost sounded disappointed in Super Mario Sunshine for being a regular sequel to Super Mario 64 and not offering a unique experience. He said that Mario 128, formerly a tech demo which got incorporated into the first Pikmin, would offer players something new.

Look for these games to be scheduled for 2003 and delayed to 2004...
