Is That A GBA In Your Pocket?

The polls are in, and despite some confusion among Florida's elderly, Game Boy Advance is the most requested toy this holiday season.
This survey was conducted by Yahooligans! and was released November 13, right before a 10-day period in which the GBA sold about one million units. This makes GBA's tally go over nine million sold in the U.S. since mid-2001, accounting for 30 percent of all videogame sales during that time.
Although the GBA has about 300 games in its library (as well as hundreds of previous GB games), let's admit it, most suck. However, this is the first year since its inception that a Game Boy system has more must-have games than any console in my opinion. This year Nintendo has a philosophy of quality AND quantity:
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance
Super Monkey Ball Jr.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Metroid Fusion
Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land
It's almost a good thing Golden Sun 2 got delayed- I don't know how many more batteries I can steal and not get caught!
America's love affair with all things Game Boy will lead to people wanting to play their games on the big screen and have them interact with next-gen counter-parts- giving Nintendo an easy selling-point for the GameCube next year.
