News   Bonus Zelda Goodness!
- Posted By Eric Tajchman, 11.13.2002

Sites all over the 'Net are reporting that Nintendo is planning to give away an extra disc containing revamped copies of Ocarina of Time and the never-released 64DD expansion Ura-Zelda to those who preorder The Legend of Zelda: The Wand of the Wind in Japan. The disc is also reported to have many demo movies of other hot upcoming titles, such as Biohazard 0 (Resident Evil 0), F-Zero GC, and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicle. However, only about 100,000 copies are going to be offered, and again, only to those who preorder the game in Japan.

This has not been confirmed yet, nor is there any word on whether this deal could happen in the US, but this seems to be a great idea to promote the upcoming Legend of Zelda: Wand of the Wind. The Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu is the source that first broke the story, not only publishing the information but also screenshots of what looks like to be the selection menu for choosing which game to play, Ocarina of Time or Ura-Zelda.

More as it becomes available.
