Before we begin, you may have noticed that NAdventures did not update last Thursday or Friday. Unfortunately, Andrew Weatherton is away on family business, and I was busy attending my father's retirement ceremony from the United States Air Force (the world's greatest air power). Anyway, we're back to normal this week, so enjoy the updates.
Just today, July 23, 2001, THQ International Ltd., a division of THQ Inc., and Majesco announced an agreement granting THQ International full publishing and distribution rights for 10 games from Majesco's solid GBA line-up.

Majesco and internal development house Pipe Dream Interactive have been releasing some of the most anticipated GBA titles to date. The games listed in the new agreement include:
Earthworm Jim
Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure
Iridion 3D
Fortress
Caesar's Palace
Dark Arena
M&M's Fun Blast
Aerial Aces
F-14 Tomcat
Yet To Be Announced Title
All of these games either have already been released or will be released before the end of 2001.
The world territories covered by this alliance are comprised of European and Export markets governed by all four of THQ International's territorial offices: UK/Export, France, Germany, and Asia-Pacific.
Tim Walsh, THQ Senior Vice President of International Publishing, states:
“The addition of these great games from Majesco expands our Game Boy Advance portfolio to more than 25 titles for 2001. Handheld gaming is one of the most exciting areas of growth in the industry and we intend to extend our leading position on Game Boy Color to the hot, new Game Boy Advance.”
President of Majesco Inc., Jesse Sutton, believes that the new partnership will greatly assist in the growth of his company as well:
“Our strategic partnership with THQ underscores our continued growth and expansion as a publisher. The universal appeal of these titles will certainly reinforce THQ’s already formidable line-up while providing us with critical exposure in the European and Asian marketplace.”
Both THQ and Majesco have been loyal and prolific GBA supporters so far, and we here at NGenres.com wish both companies well.
Senior Editor Michael Loewer, signing off.
