News   Nintendo Newsletter Sells for $1025
- Posted By Francis Bonnet, 10.10.2002

For those of you who have been following Nintendo since the mid-80's, you may remember that they used to publish a quarterly newsletter entitled "Nintendo Fun Club News", which covered many current and upcoming NES games. The newsletter pre-dated Nintendo Power, Nintendo's in-house gaming publication, and featured the ramblings of Nintendo game-expert, Howard Phillips (long-time NP readers may remember him appearing in the comic strip, Howard and Nester).

Well, if any of you old-timers have held on to your Newsletters, now may be the time to sell because the very first Nintendo Newsletter just finished selling on eBay for $1025!! The winning bidder out-bid the other four bidders in the last 60 seconds of the auction and is now $1025 poorer. If you're interested in seeing the completed auction, click here. Also, if you're interested, a detailed image of the newsletter can be seen by clicking on the thumbnail to the right.
