News   Phantasy Star Collection Gets a Release Date
- Posted By Francis Bonnet, 08.20.2002

THQ has aquired the publishing rights from Sega to bring Phantasy Star Collection to the Gameboy Advance. Phantasy Star Collection will feature Phantasy Star I, II & III all in one neat little cartridge. Each game will feature the original version and an enhanced version of each game. Also included is a save feature in which you can store the save data of each title separately.

Phantasy Star I originally appeared on the Sega Master System whereas Phantasy Star II & III appeared on the Sega Genesis. It would have been nice to see them include part IV in the collection, but I guess that's just being greedy.

Phantasy Star Collection is expected to be released on Gameboy Advance this November. This should be able to hold you over until the release of Phantasy Star Online version I & II on Gamecube.
