News   Indiana On GameCube?
- Posted By Lander Clinton, 08.10.2002

Rumor has it that LucasArts will bring Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb to GameCube along with the already-announced PS2 and Xbox versions.

The Collective, the company making the game, will hopefully learn from the good and bad parts of Factor Five's PC and N64 versions of Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine. Like the Infernal Machine, the Emperor's Tomb will feature third-person puzzle-solving, probably with Zelda-like controls.

Since this is a rumor any way, I feel it's my duty to throw in random speculation. I think that if LucasArts hasn't already DECIDED to bring Indy to the Cube, the sales they get from their upcoming Star Wars titles will determine Indy's fate. LucasArts is well aware of the attention GameCube owners paid to Rogue Leader and they probably want to make sure their audience is still there.

Since The Emperor's Tomb is not officially announced for GameCube, there is no release date yet. It takes place in 1935, so expect it sometime before then...
