News   2002 Pacman Tournament -- Women Only
- Posted By Michael Loewer, 07.26.2002

From the Joystick Junkies announcement:

-----------

If you leave the toilet seat up and have strange wiry hairs growing out of your shoulders, you needn't bother to read on (or you should definitely consult a beauty therapist, urgently). After the success of our incredibly well organised Defender tournament the other month, Joystick Junkies have decided to hold an all new Pacman tournament at our next party on August 8th, but this time it's exclusively for the ladeez. So, if there are any females out there who fancy there chances on the old pill munching, ghost busting classic, hitch up your stockings and shimmy on down to Joystick Junkies. You'll have five minutes to get the highest score, but the glory will be with you for the rest of your days. There will, of course be some cool prizes to carry home if you're up to scratch! Just one thing, if you are going to have a go, please e-mail my good self at philippa@joystickjunkies.com mainly, because it'll make me feel more popular. Cheers.

The event will be held at the Sak bar, Greek St, Soho on Thursday, August 8th.

----------

I'm sure Gabriel from Penny-Arcade is already packing his bags. He might not be able to play, but this is women playing Pacman we're talking about. The man seems to have limited, but focused, interests.
