News   NAdventures Releases (July 21 - 27)
- Posted By Michael Loewer, 07.22.2002

Guess how many games are coming out this week.

No, really, give it a shot. I'll give you one guess. It's the same amount that have been coming out for WEEKS.

Zero. Nothing. Zilch and such.

GameCube Releases:

None

Game Boy Advance Releases:

None

Hardware Releases:

Codebreaker Advance [7/22/2002]

GBA/GB Carrying Case [7/23/2002]

At E3 the honorable Shigeru Miyamoto himself guaranteed 200 (or maybe it was 250) GameCube games by Christmas this year. As of now, I believe the Cube has 65 currently available games. I'm not sure when all these games are supposed to come out, but I guess July isn't one of the big months. Yeah.

As is becoming tradition for these release notices, a big thanks goes out yet again to Titus. Although I'm EIC of Adventures, I'm very excitedly looking forward to Top Gun: Combat Zones for the Cube. I played what I thought was a basically complete version at E3, something very exciting for someone who remembers fondly Top Gun for the NES.

However, Top Gun: Combat Zones has gone from an early July release, to a July 23rd release, to an August 6th release, to an August 13th release, all with no word from Titus whatsoever. I'm not sure what a company thinks it can do in 7 days, but it might be a good idea in the future to delay a game for a month right off the bat, instead of one week increments.
