News   Game Live Events' 2002 Game Tour

Game Live Events, the country's leading producer of live video game and PC touring events, today announced their "2002 Summer Preview Game Tour". The 10-city tour begins on Saturday, July 6th in San Francisco, CA and runs through Sunday, August 4th in Dallas, TX. The tour will feature this Summer's most anticipated video and PC game titles. Many of the tour's featured titles are in current first stage launch, including Freekstyle from EA SPORTS BIG, Smugglers Run Warzones from RockStar Games, Legion: The Legend of Excalibur and MLB Slugfest 20-03 from Midway, Monster Jam: Maximum Destruction from Ubi Soft Entertainment and the Inner Sphere 'Mech Pak, the latest addition to the award-winning MechWarrior 4 franchise from Microsoft Game Studios. The PC version of Grand Theft Auto 3 for PC is also featured on the tour.

The 2002 Summer Preview Tour will also feature playable game demos from many of the most exciting Fall releases such Worms Blast, Rocky, and Disney's PK: Out of the Shadows from Ubi Soft, and TimeSplitters 2 from Eidos Interactive.

More than 20 titles will be featured on a state-of-the-art, 48-screen interactive 'GamePort' system from publishing partners Electronic Arts, RockStar Games, Ubi Soft Entertainment, Midway, Eidos Interactive and Microsoft Game Studios. PC partners include Alienware PC, ATI Technologies Radeon 8500 Graphics Card, AMD and ProMedia speaker systems from Klipsch Audio Technologies. Admission is free and play is unlimited.
