Midway Names New Management

Midway Games Inc. announced today that effective immediately, Midway Home Entertainment Inc. has named David Cox Senior Vice President-Sales North America, and C. Steve Booth Vice President-Licensing.
Messrs. Cox and Booth will report to Midway Games' Senior Vice President-Publishing, Mark Beaumont.
With a comprehensive background in sales management and a primary focus on the entertainment software industry, Mr. Cox brings broad capabilities and knowledge to the position of Senior Vice President-Sales North America. Before joining Midway, he served in several senior sales management positions in the interactive entertainment industry including Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing for InterAct Accessories, Inc., Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Eidos Interactive, Inc., and Director of National Sales for Acclaim Entertainment, Inc.
Mark Beaumont:
"David Cox's proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key retailers and distributors and his sales and marketing management successes will be valuable assets to Midway as we roll out the largest SKU line-up in the Company's history and plan for an even larger release schedule going forward."
Mr. Booth brings more than 10 years of extensive licensing experience in the media, entertainment, toy and interactive entertainment industries to Midway. Prior to joining Midway, he served as Senior Partner at Interactive Synergy Incorporated, an interactive entertainment consulting firm. Steve Booth also held senior licensing positions with The Jim Henson Company, Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, Dreamworks SKG and the Walt Disney Company.
Mark Beaumont again:
