News   Natsume Talks Harvest Moon
- Posted By Lander Clinton, 05.27.2002

Behind closed doors at E3, Natsume began talking about their upcoming Harvest Moon games for GameCube and Game Boy Advance.

The GameCube version, subtitled "A Wonderful Life," will incorporate the best aspects of all previous Harvest Moon games, and is being developed by the same genius who brought farming and fun together throughout the entire series.

He is reported as saying that Harvest Moon for GameCube is the best possible Harvest Moon he can make.

Natsume released some preliminary conceptual art of "A Wonderful Life" at E3. The logo is said to be final and the character art is a good indication of what the game will look like (not a surprise, since it's Harvest Moon. There are only so many ways to draw a cow...).

The GBA version is not titled, and it is not yet clear how the two games will interact. Will you be able to take a cow with you on your GBA, raise it in the car, and then transfer it back to your GameCube? It may be a while before we find out, because the GameCube version won't be released until second quarter next year. Just hope Nintendo doesn't release a smell adaptor for the GBA, that could be a long car ride.

Expect that there will be some interaction, though, since Natsume was very pleased about Nintendo's kick-ass performance at E3. They will likely take advantage of many of Nintendo's options since they have many games coming exclusively to Nintendo's platforms.

Keep reading for more info on Natsume's serious fun.
