TDK Mediactive, Inc. announced today an exclusive three-year licensing agreement with Jim Henson Interactive for the Muppets, which will give TDK Mediactive exclusive rights to develop and publish games based on many of the classic Muppet characters for the GameCube and Game Boy Advance.

The Muppet Show is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and the Jim Henson Company has been touting the world's love of its sock puppets.

When asked what a Muppet was, Homer Simpson responded, "it's not quite a puppet, and it's not quite a mop, but man..."

Expect more information about Muppet games from E3.

As a side note, Muppets should appear in random other games and TV shows. If humans can live in the Muppet world, why no Muppets in the human world?

I stole that idea from no one, so don't believe what you hear...
