News   Sega Seems to Have Frozen Hell...

NOTE: I know this is late news. It happens sometimes, but caught my attention just the same. Forgive me if you've already heard about this...

News often sneaks up behind you, when you're least expecting the little bugger. But usually that's the best kind, obviously in relation to this news story.

At the annual GameJam event, acclaimed and legendary producer Yu Suzuki has revealed plans to birth this new product of his, which completely turns a fan favorite into a new game, and a whole new genre.

In celebration of the Virtua Fighter 10th anniversary, AM2 has decided to take the years before mentioned secretive project of "Virtua Fighter RPG" and make it a reality on the GameCube. All the while stressing the fact that this WILL NOT be a kiddie game. (Anyone remember Virtua Fighter Kids?? *shiver*)

Cross your fingers for a 2003 release, and that the project will make it that far. Hopefully it wasn't an early April Fool's Day joke.
