Nintendo announced yesterday in Japan that it would release 13 titles for the GameCube in the fiscal year 2002 (which ends in March 2003).

"This year is the year to make it, because the second year of sales is usually when they reach a peak,"' said Shigeru Miyamoto, general manager of Nintendo's Entertainment, Analysis and Development division, and all-around cool guy.

This is over one new Nintendo game a month (if nothing gets delayed- like that could ever happen...), not to mention all the third party games to look forward to! Better start savin'.
