A Special Treat for You, the Reader
- Posted By Eric

As this being my promised treat for having neglected my Spring Break Feature a bit, and the NyQuil is still affecting me greatly, I have decided to bestow upon you, the reader, my poetic verisimilitude. I take no responsibility for any depression or desire to vomit you may have. Read at your own risk.
Now for the treat I promised.
Ode to Tetris and to its True Genius Creator
by Eric Tajchman
The Bear’s puzzle stumbles West
And the Pajitnov’s code is certainly best
Where money is seemingly plentiful to those
Of Moscow’s only true entertainment repose
With rejuvenated innovation or a man to know
No fame came and Alexey’s name refused to grow.
The shape falls, sucked to gravity’s infinite vice
Twisting and turning the ground does entice
Those shards with whom master creates
And with mystic power fixes and locates
The proper resting place for which to halt, rest
Until the horizontal is full and “clears” the test
I control those that I will, the surface does hinder with speed
I control not those pieces who come from the endless Seed.
But I soon digress,
If only I achieved Tetris
Then I could have gotten a higher score. :)
Thank you.
