Editorials   For Weddings And A Videogame
- By Lander Clinton

Wow, it's been a long time since I updated; I've gotten pretty side-tracked.

First off, my computer broke a few weeks ago and we had to get a new one. It was an original iMac and it burnt out while I was downloading (don't say porn) a Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles movie. About a week later we got a new eMac, which although is fairly low-end today, is pretty cheap and is way more powerful than the original iMac (I can now burn DVDs without a lighter!). Fortunately, we were able to save all the old info we had on the iMac.

Then my brother's wedding arrived (there was only one wedding, which is why the title of this article reads "For Weddings..." and does not infringe on "Four Weddings and a Funeral," which I was loosely trying to convey). That meant a bunch of relatives of mine and my new sister-in-law's were in town. There was a lot of running around and doing things haphazardly.

Then I got caught up drinking Pepsi. Apparently they want to pay me a billion dollars! Perhaps I should keep that one to myself...

Throughout this time there have been two new Wario games, a new Advance Wars, a slight change to the E.S.R.B. ratings guide, and a Game Boy Player. What did I get? Rocky for GameCube. It was bugging me for a while since I'm such a fan of the movies, and at $17.99 (used) I couldn't hold out any longer. The instruction booklet's pages are stuck together (shudder), but I guess that's what I get for not getting a new copy. I'll try to write a review of that for NSports in the coming days.

Yes, I promised a Golden Sun 2 review a long time ago, but I haven't gotten much chance to play it. I know someone (cough, Eric) who has finished the game and could write a review, or maybe I'll get a GB Player and put more time into it.

In the meantime, enjoy this picture of my brother's wedding party. That's my sister-in-law Joyce on the left, my brother Andy in the middle, and WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ON THE RIGHT!?!?!?!? Anyone (who wasn't there) who correctly identifies this body part to lclinton@ngenres.com gets mentioned in a follow-up story.
